This is a fabulous continental large serving tray created in England during the Edwardian period, back in the 1900's. The tray has been crafted with neoclassical patterns with parts made up in solid silver-plate and different precious woods. The wood parts are decorated with a gorgeous inlaid, depicting around elegant floriated motifs and a neptune shell pattern design in the center.

This period roughly span between 1901 and 1910, is characterized by a shift from the ornate, heavy Victorian style to a lighter, more refined aesthetic in furniture and architecture.
