BEAUTYFUL MING DYNASTY DIGNITARY FIGURE. AN ANCIENT EARLY PIECE CREATED IN CHINA AROUND THE 1400 AD, DURING THE MING DYNASTY, BETWEEN THE 1368-1644 AD.
A FIGURE REPRESENTATION OF A DIGNITARY OR COURTESAN FULLY DRESSED WITH RED ROPES AND DOWN ON HIS KNEES IN SUPPLICANT ACTION. CRAFTED IN EARTHENWARE AND EMBELLISHED WITH RED AND WHITE PIGMENTS.
THIS HAVE A MEASURES OF 7.5 BY 4.5 BY 3.5 INCHES.
IN PRETTY FINE CONDITION AND GOOD SHAPE WITH SOME REMAINS OF THE RED PIGMENT.
