This is a very delicate and useful round pill box, created in the city of Birmingham in England by the William Davenport & Company, back in the 1948. This pill box have been crafted with geometric art deco patterns, in solid .925/.999 sterling silver and is fully decorated with engine turned, circular and barley patterns. The lid feature a hinged foldable semi circled element to help to open or install a pom-pom tassel for the purse.

Hallmarks: Stamped with British crown marks; the rampant lion for England, the maker's mark W.D.&Co. associated to William Davenport & Co., the mark of the anchor for the city of Birmingham, the mark for the assay of the silver, and the date code letter Y for 1948.
