VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Paris Modern Cuff Bracelet In 18Kt Yellow Gold With 3 Amethyst

A youthful and colorful cuff bracelet created in Paris France by the iconic jewelry house of Van Cleef & Arpels, back in the late 1980's. This rare cuff bracelet has been crafted with modernist patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and is fitted with a pair of hinged tension elements for comfort fit. It is embellished with three earth mined natural purple amethysts.

Amethysts: Mounted in bezel settings, with 3 sugarloaf cabochon cut (9 x 6 x 4 mm) of natural transparent purple amethysts with a combined weight of about 4.65 carats.

Weight: 52.7 grams

Size: 7 inches (17.75 Cm).

Measures: The width measure is 10 mm (0.40 Inch).

Hallmarks: Stamped with several French marks; three times with the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's mark AV inside a lozange cartouche associated to Andre Vassort, the nine-digits serial numbers and signed in full as follow, "VCA MADE IN FRANCE 750 NY2K499-13".

Note: This maker’s mark AV, is associated to the early mark for the master jeweler, maitre Andre Vassort. The Mo. Andre Vassort jewelry atelier, was located in Paris 2, at the 34 rue Sainte Anne. He collaborate very closely with Van Clef & Arpels between the 1950’s and 1980’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 1990's.

Collateral: This cuff is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 3 amethyst are secured in their settings. This cuff has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
