TIFFANY & CO. France Schlumberger Studios Red Paillonné Bracelet In 18Kt Yellow Gold
A red Paillonné bracelet designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co.
This is a very rare bracelet designed in Paris France at the Jean Schlumberger studios, back in 1970's. This gorgeous red Paillone enameled model is a semi-flexible design composed by twenty-one links, decorated with gold spheres and lozenges. The model was created by Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The bracelet is embellished with applications of vivid Lively and joyful under-foiled red glass enamel with contrasting the four bold tripart polished gold lozenges and bold gold dots. Fitted with a concealed safety pin and a push boxed lock.

Jean Schlumberger
He was asked in 1956 by the president of Tiffany & Co. Walter Hovin to begin designing for the firm. He had his own workshop at the company until his retirement in the late 1970's and was eventually made vice president of the company. Schlumberger designs at tiffany were remarkable for their whimsical interpretation of natural forms. He was especially inspired by the sea creatures and others animals. He was an exceptional designer, jeweler and a master enameller.
