Beautiful geometric piece, created in New York city by the iconic Angela Cummings for the Tiffany Studios, back in the 1978. This colorful bangle is very rare and has been carefully crafted with inlaid gemstones in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Fitted with invisible hinges, a discrete safety push lock and a security hinged slash for extra safety.
Gemstones: Embellished with carvings of natural black jade and blue lapis lazuli inlaid in the gold creating organic and geometric patterns of orchids flowers.
Weight: 107.5 Grams, (68.91 Dwt).
Size: Fit a wrist up to 7 Inches (17.75 Cm).
Measurements: Width of 35 mm (1.38 Inch). Thickness of 5 mm.
Hallmarks: Stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker mark, the gold assay mark and signed, "T&CO. .750".
Angela Cummings
She was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.
