An Italian art deco geometric bracelet.
Fabulous large bracelet, created in Italy during the art deco period, back in the 1930's. This bracelet has been crafted at the goldsmith atelier of F.R.O.V, with geometric shapes in three colors of 18 karats with faceted patterns. Fitted with a push security box lock and a hinged figure 8 for extra safety. The gold faceting treatment of the nineteen links that make up this bracelet adds incredible extra value, since when it moves it creates a visual effect of shine and lights like a disco ball. The bracelet does not exhibit any marks, bumps or indentations, it seems that it was never worn, considering that it is from the 1930s.

Hallmarks: Stamped with Italian post-1934 marks; two times with the maker's mark 8VI, the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold and signed, "8VI .750".

This maker's mark is associated to F.R.O.V. S.n.c. located at Mure Saint Michele, 27 in Vicenza. It was incorporated in 13/05/1935 and was out in 1971. The law 5 February 1934 n. 305 introduced uniformity in the shape of Italian silversmith's marks. The new mark identifying the silversmith consisted of a lozenge containing: number: corresponding to the number identifying the silversmith, a 'fascio': fascist party symbol and two letters for the initials of the Province.
Collateral: This bracelet is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
