WEISE ET FILS 1960 Retro modernist Bracelet In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Lapis & Coral
French modernist bracelet designed by W. et F. WEISE Et FILS.
Fabulous retro modernist bracelet, created in France during the mid century period, back in the 1960. This bracelet was carefully crafted at the jewelry workshop of W. et F. Weise et Fils, in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished and textured finishes. It is embellished with fourteen cabochons carved from coral and lapis lazuli. The bracelet is fitted with a concealed hinged lock and a security slash for extra safety.
Lapis Lazuli: Mount with, 7 fancy fluted cabochon cut (19 x 8 x 8 mm) carved from natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli, with a weight of about 42 carats.
Coral: Mount with, 7 fancy fluted cabochon cut (19 x 8 x 8 mm) carved from natural angel skin coral with a weight of about 35 carats.
Birthstone: Lapis lazuli for the month of January and coral for April.
Weight: 83.5 Grams, (53.52 Dwt).
Size: The inside free circumference is 6.28 Inches (16 Cm).
Measurements: The width is 19 mm (0.75 Inch).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; Twice with the head of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the gold and the maker's mark WF. associated to W. et F. WEISE Et FILS. Note: The jewelry workshop of W. et F. Weise et Fils, was located at Rue Du Canal in Saint-Pierre-Lès-Nemours.
Collateral: This bracelet is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Weise Et Fils bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 14 gemstones are secured in their settings. This bracelet has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
