*Austrian 1950 Post War Retro Links Bracelet in solid 18 kt yellow gold
An Austrian retro bracelet.
A beautiful transitional bold piece from the post war, created in Vienna Austria during the art-deco-Retro period, circa 1940-1950. This bracelet was carefully crafted, with geometric patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and the surfaces are finished with high polish.
The design is composed by multiples flexible curvy links attached together by invisibles pins and suited, with a push boxed lock, with a hinged slash figure 8 and a little chain with a crab lock, for extra security.
It is s pretty heavy and substantial, with a total weight of 95.95 grams and a length of 8 inches (20 Cm). Can be shortened and the width measure is 35 mm (1.38 inches).
Stamped, with Austrian marks, the maker's maitre cartouche JP and the gold assay hallmark.
The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides the normal surface wear, there is no damage to the gold and the the clasp is secure and in good working condition, with all the original antique patina intact. A very nice collector's piece.
