*Van Cleef & Arpels 1969 Paris vintage panthers ring in 18 kt yellow gold with blue sapphire

A panthers ring designed by Van Cleef & Arpels. 

Beautiful vintage sculptural piece created in Paris, France by the house of Van Cleef & Arpels back in the 1969. This one-of-a-kind cocktail ring was crafted with a pair of panthers in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with polished surfaces.

The panthers encounters in the middle holding a round bezel that are holding one round cabochon cut (5 mm) of a natural vivid blue sapphire of 0.75 carats.

Have a total weight of 13.95 Grams and the actual size is 7, sizeable. The top view measure are 10 mm by 23 mm.

Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, the serial numbers and signed in full, "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS MADE IN FRANCE C.69 5V110-5"

Note: Probably unique since we cannot track any other similar ring to this one.

It is in perfect vintage condition and is accompanied by the designer's jewelry box.
