Van Cleef And Arpels 1970 Paris Onyx Bombe Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Diamonds

A vintage bombe ring made in Paris France circa late 1970's. It was crafted by the house of Van Cleef & Arpels in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and embellished with two special fancy cabochon cut pieces, carved from natural black onyx.
Diamonds: Accented, with a horizontal linear element that is pave set with 12 round brilliant cuts diamonds, 0.60 carats, E color, VVS-1 clarity.
Weight: 9.75 grams (6.27 Dwt).
Size: 6 and can be sized.
Measurements: From the top 22.5 mm with a width of 9.2 mm.
Hallmarks: Stamped with beautiful French marks; the eagle's head for the assay and warranty of the 18Kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, VCA, the serial numbers and signed, "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS 18 KT C5021X23 © COPYRIGHT OCT 48".
Note: This design was first created during the post war period, originally patented in 1948 and produced until 1975. Models in green chrysoprase, red coral and blue chalcedony also exist.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
