Clips earrings designed by Tiffany & Co.

An iconic pair of earrings created in New York city by the Tiffany Studios, back in the 1970's. This pair was crafted with spiky flames patterns, made up in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and platinum parts for the setting of the diamonds. Fitted at the reverse with posts for pierced ears and a pair of comfortable omega backs for fastening clips.

Diamonds: Mount in a pave settings, with 58 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 3.46 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.

Weight: 18.30 Grams, (11.73 Dwt).

Measurements: The width is 32 mm by 31 mm (1.26 x 1.22 Inch).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the marks for the assay of the gold and the platinum and signed, "TIFFANY & CO. SCHLUMBERGER .750 PLAT .950".

Jean Schlumberger Design

In 1956 he was asked by the president of Tiffany & Co. Mr. Walter Hovin, to begin designing for the firm. He had his own workshop at the company until his retirement in the late 1970's and was eventually made vice president of the company. Schlumberger design's at tiffany were remarkable for their whimsical interpretation of natural forms. He was especially inspired by the sea creatures and others animals. He was an exceptional designer, jeweler and a master enameller.

Collateral: This pair of earrings are accompanied by a certificate appraisal ID-92609 prepared by a GIA certified gemologist stating the description of this pair  and all the characteristics of all diamonds. Dated November 3 2023, copy will be enclosed.

ConditionThe overall condition of this pair is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold or platinum. The diamonds are secured in the settings. These earrings has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
