Gem-set convertible Pendant Brooch.

A gorgeous transitional piece, created during the late American Art-deco (1940) and the retro (1950) periods. This convertible pendant-brooch has been carefully assembled in solid .900/.999 Platinum and is suited with a discrete bale to display in a chain and a hinged curved pin bar with a security lock, to use as a brooch.

The main focus element is a Pear faceted cut (25 x 16 x 10 mm) of a natural Brazilian vivid blue Aquamarine of 19.73 carats.

Mounted on top, with one round Brilliant cut diamond of 0.30 carats, F color, VS-2 clarity. Surrounded by four-prongs settings, with 30 calibrated European round cut diamonds, 0.74 carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.

Has a total weight of 16.6 Grams and a measures of 36 mm by 22 mm (1.42 x 0.87 Inches).

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the platinum assay hallmark and signed, "PLT".

Note: The chain is 18 Inches long and is removable to use the pendant in other necklace or as a brooch.
