Cocktail ring designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.

A sculptural piece, designed by Picasso at the Tiffany studios, back in the 1980's. This bold ring was carefully crafted in New York city in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with very high polished finish.

Bezel set on top with one cushion cabochon cut (12 x 10 x 7 mm) of a rare Brazilian Reddish-Pink Tourmaline of 7.12 carats.

The total weight of this ring is 18.7 grams and the actual size is 6.75, sizable.

Have a top view measure of 21 mm by 19 mm and raise 14 mm over the finger.

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed in full, "TIFFANY & CO. 18 KT PALOMA PICASSO".

Paloma Picasso was the Daughter of the artists Pablo Picasso and Françoise Gilot. Paloma has been a creative force since the day she was born. Growing up in France, she was surrounded by art and was always encouraged to create herself, which she did with great enthusiasm—firstly, with childhood drawings and, later, through her now iconic jewelry collections for tiffany. Embodying the art and culture movement of the 1980s in New York city, Paloma was a progressive choice for Tiffany & Co.
