Ottoman Empire 1880 Enamelled Double Case Box In 925 Sterling Silver
Ottoman Empire enamelled silver cigarette box.
Beautifully antique ornate case made in the middle east, during the ottoman empire period, in the late of the 19th century, circa 1880-1910. It was carefully crafted in solid .925/.999 silver and fitted with a hinged spring for snapping closure.
Decorated on both sides with applications of colors enamel. The verso is decorated with a lovers scene under trees and the reverse is decorated with an intricate floral pattern with two birds. This case is also enameled inside, with additional white panels accented with green and red flowers.
Measures: 113 mm by 80 mm (4.45 x 3.15 Inches).
Weight: 188.7 grams (120.96 Dwt).
Hallmarks: Unmarked.
Condition: The overall condition of this box is good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver, small tiny chip in a corner that don't detract the beauty. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
