A jeweled Nubian Moor Prince stick pin with Gemstones.
An exceptional antique piece, created in Venice Italy, back in late 19th century. This stick pin, has been crafted in the shape of a Moorish prince in solid yellow gold of 18 karats. The head is carved from natural black Ebony wood and display a beautiful face with highly detailed expressions. An excellent carving with great craftsmanship, beautiful details and in great vintage condition. The prince is adorned with intricate baroque ropes, a turban accented with a half moon and a star crest and gold earrings. Fitted with a stick pin of 2.5 inches to be wear.
Diamonds: The ropes and he turban are mounted in a flush millegrain settings, with 33 calibrated old European round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.98 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 Clarity.
Ruby: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut of a natural red ruby of 0.30 carats.
Weight: 8.20 Grams, (5.27 Dwt).

History
