Modernist necklace with hexagonal gemstones.
An estatement studio necklace, composed by nineteen hexagonal cuts beads carved from natural rock quartzes and a brazilian blue aquamarine. It is mounted with fifteen graduated round convex elements, crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 18 karats with a thin brushed finish. Most probably designed in Germany or Switzerland following the parameters of the bauhaus school and is fitted with an invisible screw ball security lock.
Rock quartz: Mount, with 18 hexagonal bead cut of diverse sizings carved from natural rock quartz.
Aquamarine: Mount with 1 hexagonal bead cut (27.55 x 20.60 x 17.50 mm) of a vivid blue aquamarine of 102.83 carats.
Birthstone: Aquamarine for the month of March.
Weight: 195.60 Grams, (125.38 Dwt). The gold parts has an exact weight of 47.89 grams (33.70 Dwt)
Measurements: Length of 19.75 Inches (50.16 Cm).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "FG .750".
Collateral: This necklace is accompanied with a laboratory report from the GIA number 2225635998, stating the blue gemstone is a genuine natural beryl Aquamarine.
