Large Cardan drop earrings designed by Marina B.

These iconic pieces are from the popular Cardan Unthreaded beads collection, designed back in the 1978 in Milan, Italy by Marina Bvlgari. This colorful drop earrings was carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and suited at the reverse, with posts for pierced ears, comfortable omega backs for fastening clips and a hinged screwed part to interchange the main round beads.

The upper parts are fully movable in two directions and are mounted with a pair of fancy round cabochon cut (15 mm) of natural reddish Carnelians with a combined weight of 24 carats. 

The lower parts are screwed, with another larger pair of round fancy cut (20 mm) of natural blue Chalcedonies with a combined weight of 91.25 carats and accented in the centers with two rounds cabochons cut of black onyxes.

They are accompanied by three extra pairs of round cabochons elements carved from precious gemstones such; Rutilated white quartz and Green Topaz, Onyx with a total weight of 182.5 carats.

They have a combined weight of 37.7 Grams and a measures of 37 mm by 20 mm (1.41 x 0.78 Inches).

Both are stamped, with the maker's mark, the Italian gold assay hallmark, the serial numbers and signed in full, "MARINA B MB .750 *2375AL ITALY 5726".

Marina Bulgari, born in Rome in 1930, she is widely regarded as one of the most important women in jewelry of our time. Note: It is very unusual to see this model accompanied by 2 alternatives round cabochons.

Collateral: They are are accompanied by the designer's jewelry pouches, and the original screw driver with the red tassel.

ConditionThe overall condition of these earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
