Has a total weight of 21.5 Grams and the actual size is 6.5 sizable. The top view measures are 28 mm by 22 mm and raise 18 mm over the finger.

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold and platinum assay hallmarks and signed, "G. WEIL PLAT 18 CT".

George Weil, was born in Vienna in 1938. Was part of a Jewish family who left Antwerp in 1939 on the last possible plane. He trained as a jeweler and spent some time at St Martins' School of Art in London. He also made sculpture, including portrait busts of Winston Churchill, David Ben Gurion and the singer Sammy Davis Junior. His artistic training can be seen in this gold and diamond ring, which shows strong sculptural influences, reminiscent of the work of his contemporary Andrew Grima. The textured gold and asymmetric character of the hoop and bezel are very characteristic of goldsmiths work of the 1960s.

He designed for Tiffany & Co. and other big design houses and made his mark in the 1960s and 70s. Regarded as an innovator, he created sculptural jewelry for such celebrities as Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, and even the Queen of England. In 1979. George Weil closed his jewelry studio in 1979 and ten years later emigrated to Israel where he continued to work as an artist.

Chrysocolla, the name comes from the ancient Greek χρυσός (chrysos) and κολλα (kolla), "gold" and "glue," in allusion to the name of the material used to solder gold and was first used by Theophrastus in 315 BC. Chrysocolla has a cyan (blue-green) color and is a minor ore of copper. It is of secondary origin and forms in the oxidation zones of copper orebodies. A 2006 study has produced evidence that Chrysocolla may be a microscopic mixture of the copper hydroxide mineral Spertinite amorphous silica and water.

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold with remains of a gorgeous reddish vintage patina. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
