Pendant designed by Haroldo Burle Marx (1911-1991).
A sculptural piece, created in Brazil in the 1970's by the artist-designer-jeweler, Haroldo Burle Marx. This pendant charm was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and finished, with the characteristic Marx's Florentine patterns.
Bezel set, with a pear shape cut (17 x 16 x 12 mm) of a natural Brazilian Mandarin Citrine of 15.67 carats.
Is suited with a movable bale of 8.7 mm to wear as a chain-pendant and a loop on top to wear into a bracelet's charm (can be adjusted).
Have a net weight of 17.6 grams and a measures of 36 mm by 49 mm (1.41 x 1.92 inches).
Stamped inside the border, with the company maker's mark, the gold assay hallmarks and signed, "BURLE MARX 18 KT GB 792".
This piece have an obvious collaboration between three big names of the Brazilian arts; Haroldo Burle Marx (1911-1991) the designer and jeweler with galleries in brazil and Washington DC., Bruno Guidi the master chief goldsmith and lead designer of Burle Marx and finally Roberto Burle Marx (1909-1994), Haroldo's brother, designer and a landscape architect.

Condition: The overall condition of this pendant is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The gemstone, is secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
