A pendant brooch designed by Asprey of London.

An ultra modernist colorful piece, created in London England by Asprey, back in the 1971. This geometric brooch has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats. It was individually assembled with several screws and pins and is fitted with a hinged pin bar with a mechanical security lock. Exceptional craftsmanship.

Diamonds: Mount in a pave setting, with 46 round brilliant cut diamonds, 3.22 carats, white colorless E/F Color, VS-2 Clarity.

Turquoises: Prong set with 110 oval cabochon cut of natural sleeping Beauty blue Turquoises, with a total weight of 16.50 carats.

Lapis Lazuli: Mounted in four-prongs settings, with ten (10) faceted beveled kite cuts of natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli, with an estimate weight of 45 carats.

Weight: 57.85 Grams, (37.08 Dwt).

Measurements: 80 mm by 77 mm (3.14 x 3.03 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks, the maker's mark, the gold assay mark, the capital letter Q for the production / importer year of 1971 and signed, "ASPREY LONDON MADE IN FRANCE 0.750 Q".

Asprey & Co. was founded in 1781 by William Asprey. The business was a high-end retailer of traveling cases and accessories before expanding to include magnificent jewels in the 20th century. Its sales are focused on jewelry, watches, leather, old books and accessories. The firm continued to grow in reputation spurred by its appointment as the jeweler to the English royal family. The company partnered with Garrard in 1995. The merger didn’t last long, dissolving in 2002. Asprey remains in the original New Bond Street site and caters to prominent customers throughout the world.
