A vintage piece created at the Schlumberger atelier in New York city. This necklace is part of the circles ropes collection and was crafted in solid 18 karats yellow gold. Suited with an invisible hinged circle lock and a figure 8 for extra security.
Composed by multiples textured twisted rope links and each one is connected by high polished geometric elements.
Have a total weight of 93.3 grams and a length of 18 inches, with a width measure of 11 mm..

In 1956 the president of tiffany & co. Walter Hovin asked Jean Schlumberger to begin designing for the firm. He had his own workshop at the company until his retirement in the late 1970's and was eventually made vice president of the company. Schlumberger design's at tiffany were remarkable for their whimsical interpretation of natural forms. He was especially inspired by the sea creatures and others animals. He was an exceptional designer, jeweler and a master enameller.
Very nice collector's piece in perfect condition with no trace of wear. Have a great look, with nice eye appeal and is accompanied by the designer's jewelry box and the certificate.
