VERY RARE CONVERTIBLE RING DESIGNED BY PETER LINDEMAN, FROM NYC. A ONE OF A KIND PIECE COMPLETELY HAND CRAFTED AROUND THE 1960'S IN SOLID 18 KARAT OF YELLOW GOLD. THIS PIECE WAS CONCEIVED WITH A ROCKY STONED RUGGED SURFACE AND CAN BE CONVERTED INTO A PENDANT, JUST FLIPPING THE TOP OF THE RING.
NICE BRUTALIST ORGANIC DESIGN FROM THE MID CENTURY, FEATURING 8 LARGE ROUGH COLOR DIAMONDS ENCRUSTED IN THE GOLD WITH A TOTAL ESTIMATE WEIGHT OF 6.5 Carats.

PETER LINDEMAN WAS VERY ACTIVE IN NYC FROM THE 1947 TO THE EARLY 1970'S. WAS ONE OF THE VERY FINE FIRST CALLED BRAND NAMED JEWELRY DESIGNER. HE HAS JEWELRY PIECES EXHIBITED IN THE PERMANENT COLLECTION OF THE BOSTON MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS. AS A NOTE HE WAS THE PERSONAL JEWELER OF ELVIS PRESLEY AND MADE FOR HIM MANY CUSTOMIZED PIECES AND OTHER EXTRAVAGANT PIECES. HE SPECIALIZE IN CREATIONS FROM THE NATURE LIKE ANIMALS FLOWERS AND STONES.
THIS UNUSUAL RING HAVE A TOTAL WEIGHT OF 24.4 Grams, THE ACTUAL SIZE IS 6.5 AND CAN BE SIZED. THIS HAVE A MEASURE OF 23.5 mm by 22 mm. STAMPED WITH THE LINDEMAN ATELIER DROP LOGO WITH AN "L" AND "L 18 KT". VERY RARE COLLECTOR PIECE.
