-French 1935 Art Deco Retro Tricolor Geometric Tank Bracelet In 18Kt Solid Gold

French art-deco tricolor tank bracelet.

Fabulous one-of-a-kind tank style bracelet, made in Paris France during the transitional periods of the art deco to the retro, back in the 1935. This very unusual bracelet has been crafted and assembled with beautiful geometric patterns of the machine-age, in solid 18 karat of yellow, white and pink gold, all with high polished finish. Fitted with a push boxed lock, a security button and a hinged slashed figure 8 for extra safety.

The design is composed by eight geometric elements, attached together with oval rectangular links. All the components of this bracelet are geometric with their angles, either straight and sharp.

Weight: 68.95 Grams, (44.21 Dwt).

Measurements: Length of 7 Inches (18 Cm) and the width is 36 mm  (1.42 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped two times, with the French national eagle's head mark for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold.

Note: immediately after the first world war, the creation of jewelry with geometric patterns inspired by the tracks of the war tanks became very fashionable. The synthesis of these designs were adapted during the art deco period and after the post-war.

Provenance: A French collection of art deco jewelry. Acquired in Paris France in 2022.

Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold parts. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
