Cocktail ring designed by Elizabeth Gage.

Rare vintage piece created by the British jewelry designer Elizabeth Gage, back in the 2001. This cocktail ring has been crafted with baroque textured patterns in solid yellow  gold of 18 karats with white gold accents. The white gold parts are finished with a beautiful Florentine patterns.

Bezel set in the center with one oval cut (12 x 10 x 8 mm) of a natural and very rare natural pink topaz of 6.37 carats.

The floriated motifs are accented with 21 round brilliant cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.58 carats, E/F color, VVS-1 clarity.

Has a total weight of 24.1 grams and the actual size is 5.25, sizeable.

The top view measurements are 26 mm by 23 mm (1.02 by 0.90 Inches).

Stamped, with British Hallmarks for the city of London, the maker's mark EG for Elizabeth Gage, the lower cap letter b for the production year of 2001, the gold assay mark and signed, "GAGE .750 b. EG".

Elizabeth Gage is a British jewelry designer and trained master goldsmith who has been creating collectable jewelry for over 50 years. She has been described by the trade as someone "whose large rings, historical references, gorgeous stones and elaborate craftsmanship set the tone for a whole generation". Elizabeth Gage works in 18 and 22 carat gold. Her 'Helios' gold necklace, featured in Tatler magazine, took 203 grams of gold and 93 man hours to create. Elizabeth’s approach to design is as unique as the jewels themselves. She combines different elements in her work which she chooses for their individual beauty; exquisite stones, ancient bronzes, beautiful carvings, baroque pearls, in fact anything where the shape and colour inspire her.

Note: The traditional November birthstone, topaz is a popular gem. Although frequently associated with golden yellow as well as blue, it can be found in a variety of colors, including colorless. The rarest are natural pink, red, and fine golden orange, sometimes with a pink tone.Pink topaz like this are extremely rare in sizes over 3 carats, this one is 6.37 carats.

Note: Florentine or Fiorentini finish is a crosshatched decorative technique engraved into the surface of a precious metal. It is usually applied by a hand tool and consists a series of parallel lines engraved in two directions perpendicular to each other.

ConditionThe overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
