Nice vintage kinetic band, crafted in Paris, France by the artist jeweler Jean Dinh Van. Made in solid white gold of 18 karats, with high polish finish
Composed by two pieces, a larger one fixed and the small one that rotate in their axis. The roTation element is mount, with 8 round brilliant cut diamonds, .08 carats, E/F color, VS-2 clarity.
Have a weight of 9.9 grams and the actual size is 6.25, cannot be enlarged. The width measures is 8 mm.
Stamped, with French Hallmarks; the maker's Maitre cartouche Ste DD (Societe Dinh Van), the gold assay mark and signed in full, "DINH VAN 18 KT".
Jean Dinh Van is a French designer that began is successful career in the 1960 designing for the French jewelry houses of Cartier and Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world. All his designs are very geometric and modern, both, his original vintage pieces created for Cartier and the contemporary creations are highly collectible. Dinh Van pieces are very fashionable, sophisticate and easy to wear, also can be displayed as a small toys, sculptures and "Objects du Vertu".
