ART DECO 1930 Dangle Drops Earrings In Platinum With 3.26 Ctw In Diamonds

Pair of art deco platinum dangle earrings

This is a beautiful antique pair of dangle drops earrings, created during the art deco period, back in the 1930. This pair of earrings was most probably crafted in Europe, in solid platinum and are mounted with a nice selection of graduated natural, earth mined diamonds. The earrings were designed with geometric shapes and the diamond's settings were finished with millegrain patterns. They are fitted with posts for pierced ears and butterfly push backs.

Diamonds: Mount in millegrain flush settings, with 80 European round cut diamonds, with approximate 3.26 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity. 

Weight: 9.6 Grams, (6.55 Dwt).

Measurements: 48 mm by 19 mm (1.89 x 0.75 Inches).

Hallmarks: Unmarked, but electronically tested for platinum.

Millegrain 

This is a jewelry technique which refers to the textural effect of a close-set line of metal beads that are typically used as a border on the edges or bezels of jewelry.

Collateral: These earrings are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of these earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the platinum. The 80 diamonds are secured in the settings. This pair has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
