Damascene mixed metals earrings designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co.
Extremely rare pieces, created for the Tiffany Studios by Angela Cummings, back in the 1977. These pair of clips earrings has been crafted with the ancient Damascene technique in Iron, 24kt gold and sterling silver. They are fitted at the reverse with very comfortable omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily done.
Damascene,the ancient jewelry technique of inlaying precious metals in iron, was updated by Angela Cummings in jewelry and hair accessories.
Weight: Combined of 13.25 Grams, (8.46 Dwt).
Measurements: 38 mm by 15 mm (1.51 x 0.59 Inches).
Hallmarks: Both pieces are stamped with the maker's mark, the silver assay mark and signed, "©T&CO. SILVER".

Note: A collection of bracelets, earrings, rings and hair combs were designed by Angela cummings between the 1974 thru the 1978 and produced by the Tiffany studios. After 1978 all models has been discontented, and actually are very rare and highly collectibles pieces.
Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this pair is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the damascene gold. These earrings has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
