American 1935 Art Deco Box In 14Kt Gold And Gilt Sterling With Blue Lapis Lazuli

American art deco box with lapis lazuli.

Beautiful art deco box, created in America in the 1935. Crafted with geometric diamonds patterns, with parts made up in yellow gold of 14 karats and interiors in gilt sterling. Mounted on the sides with a pair of rectangular pieces of natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli. The box is fitted with a push thumb, a hinged compartment and a mirror. Was recently serviced, polished and cleaned and is presented in pristine condition. Gorgeous look and nice eye appeal.

Gemstones: Mount on the sides, with 2 flat elements carved from natural blue lapis lazuli.

Birthstone: Lapis lazuli for the month of September.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and the silver and signed, "NMC 14 KT STERLING".

Condition: The overall condition of this box is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. Both lapis lazuli are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
