Very beautiful clips-on earrings, created in Verona Italy at the jewelry atelier of Carlo Weingrill, back in the late 1960. This pair of earrings has been crafted in the shape of big flowers with 5 petals in solid rich yellow gold of 18 karats with textured finish. They are decorated with incised Florentine design. Fitted with posts (Removable) and hinged omega backs for fastening. 

Rubies: Mounted in flat prongs settings, with 36 round faceted cut of natural red rubies with a weight of 1.08 carats.

Birthstone: Rubies, for the month of July.

Weight: 20.95 Grams, (13.93 Dwt).

Measurements: 40 mm by 40 mm (1.57 x 1.57 Inches).

Hallmarks: They are both stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "ITALY 18KT WEINGRILL".

Carlo Weingrill

He was born in Verona, Italy, in 1856. At the age of just eleven, he began to be an apprenticeship in a local goldsmith’s shop. When he completed his training at the age of 22, he open his own factory in Verona in 1879.
