These colorful vintage earrings were created in New York city by the American jewelers of Tiffany & Co. back in the 1940 and 1950. The late art deco retro earrings were crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and embellished with a fabulous assortment of thirty-two natural Madeira citrines and two white colorless diamonds. These one-of-a-kind rosettes earrings are a real killer! with eye appeal.
The Madeira Citrines
Madeira citrine is a type of quartz crystal that's usually a warm yellow or orange color. It's named after the Madeira wine that's produced in the Madeira islands off the coast of Portugal. Color is the most critical factor in evaluating citrine's value. The most coveted citrines are those that display a deep, saturated amber or reddish-orange hue, often referred to as Madeira citrine.
