FRENCH ART DECO Paris 1940 Clips Earrings in Platinum with 1.56 Ctw in Diamonds

French deco diamonds clips-earrings in the manner of Suzanne Belperron.

This is an exceptional pair of organics clips-on earrings, created in Paris France during the late art deco period, back in the 1940. The gorgeous pair has been designed as a left and right in the shape of leaves, which are embellished with twenty-four natural white colorless diamonds. The main bodies were carefully crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum and fitted at the reverse with concealed comfortable French omega backs in white gold of 18 karats. The addition of posts for pierced ears can be easily done.

Diamonds: Embellished in the centers in graduated pave settings, with 24 European round cut diamonds, with a combined weight of about 1.56 carats, white colorless F color, VS clarity.

Weight: 13.95 Grams, (8.94 Dwt.).

Measurements: 33 mm by 15 mm (1.30 x 0.59 Inches).

Hallmarks: They are both are stamped with French marks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold (backs), the "dog" for the platinum (smoothed) and the maker's maitre mark inside a lozenge cartouche.

Collateral: These earrings are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of these French art-deco earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the platinum. The 24 diamonds are secured in their settings. This pair has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
