These are a beautiful modernist clips-on earrings, crafted with triangular shapes in solid yellow gold of 14Kt with high polished finish. They are mounted with a gorgeous pair of natural boulder opals and twelve white colorless brilliant cuts diamonds. The earrings are fitted at the reverse with gold posts (Removable) for pierced ears and comfortable hinged omega backs for fastening clips.

Boulder Opal

Australian boulder opal is very unique, rare and extremely colorful. Boulder opal is mined from the large ironstone boulders (big rock) under the ground and that's why we called it 'BOULDER'. Top quality boulder opal may fetch prices of up to AUD $3,500 per carat for a gem quality stone.

Diamonds: Mounted in pave settings, with 12 calibrated round brilliant cuts diamonds, 0.20 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Opal: Mounted in bezel settings, with 2 fancy triangular free-forms cabochons cuts (20 x 15 x 3 mm) carved from natural Australian boulder opals, with an estimate weight of about 18 carats.

Birthstone: Opal for the month of October.
