MODERNIST 1970 European Clips Earrings In 18Kt Gold With Chalcedony & Diamonds

Modernist earrings with chalcedony and diamonds.    

These are a beautiful pair of clips-on earrings, created in Europe back in the 1970's. The earrings has been crafted as a left and right pair, in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and embellished with natural earth mined gemstones, such; white colorless diamonds and two translucent blue chalcedonies. They are fitted at the reverse with French omega backs for fastening clips and the addition of posts for pierced ears may be easily done. Gorgeous look with great eye appeal and designed in the French taste with the Suzanne Belperron influence.

Chalcedony: Mounted with screws, with 2 fancy fluted cabochons cut carved from translucent bluish chalcedony.

Birthstone: Chalcedony for the month of May.

Weight: 20.85 Grams, (13.40 Dwt).

Measurements: 32 mm by 21 mm (1.26 x 0.83 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and the mark for the assay and warranty of the gold  as follows, "18kt".

Collateral: These earrings are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this pair of modernist earrings is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 58 gemstones are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
