Sculptural earrings designed by Giorgio Facchini (Pesaro 1947-).

Gorgeous one of kind pair, of kinetic earrings, created by the Italian master jeweler, artist and sculptor, Giorgio Facchini. This pair has been designed as a convertible day and night pair in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The design is composed by four oval elements that rotate over an axis like orbits, providing in this way infinite positions. They fitted at the reverse with hinged omega backs for fastening clips and the addition of posts for pierced ears can be easily done. 

Gemstones: Mount in inlaid settings, with 5 white agates and 5 black onyx.

Weight: 39.3 Grams, (25.19 Dwt.).

Measurements: 63 mm by 28 mm (2.48 x 1.10 Inches).

Hallmarks and Signatures: They are both engraved with the artist's signature, "GIORGIO FACCHINI / ©FACCHINI" and stamped with the Italian control mark for the assay of the 18kt gold, ".750".

Giorgio Facchini

He was born in Fano, Pesaro, Italy in 1947. His art education was in Fano and Venice, where he specialized in the creation of sculpted conceptual jewelry. His works have been in exhibitions in numerous museums and art galleries in Italy, France, Germany and the United States. He have won many international awards and currently is working between the cities of Marche and Umbria.

Spatialism 

This is an art movement founded by the Italian artist Lucio Fontana in Milan in the 1947 in which he grandiosely intended to synthesize colour, sound, space, movement and time into a new type of art. The main ideas of this movement were anticipate in his Manifiesto Blanco, published in Buenos Aires in 1946. In it he spoke of a neo "spatial" art in keeping the spirit of the post war age.
