A modernist pair made in Paris France, circa 1970's by the house of Chaumet. They was crafted, with a free form shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with a disc made in high polished white gold. They are suited with omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option can be easily added

Stamped with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche JC and signed, "CHAUMET PARIS".

Chaumet: The French born jeweler, Marie-Etienne Ninot began his career as an assistant court-jeweler to the queen Marie Antoinette. In 1780, he moved to Paris and founded the House of Chaumet, and was appointed as jeweler to emperor Napoleon in 1802. During this period, Ninot became one of the most popular jewelers in Europe, establishing a loyal and continuous prestigious clientele. today the house remains as a luxury jewelry house under the name Chaumet Paris.
