ART DECO 1930 Clips-On Earrings In Platinum With Pearls & 1.74 Ctw Diamonds
Pair of Art Deco pearls earrings in platinum.
This is a fantastic pair of antique clips-on earrings created in American during the art-deco period, back in the 1930. These earrings were carefully crafted as a left and right pair in solid .900/.999 platinum with high polished finish. The earrings are embellished with clusters of twenty-eight cultured white pearls and fifty white colorless diamonds. They are fitted at the reverse with hinged omega backs for fastening clips and the addition of gold posts for pierced ears may be easily installed.
Pearls: Mount in bar settings, with 28 graduated white light-gray lustrous cultured round pearls graduated between 5 and 6 mm.
Diamonds: Mount in paves and four-prongs settings, with 50 European round brilliant cuts diamonds with a combined weight of about 1.74 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.
Weight: 22.45 grams, (14.40 Dwt).
Measures: 30 mm by 23 mm (1.18 x 0.91 inches).
Hallmarks: Unmarked, electronically tested for .900/.999 platinum.
