VICTORIAN BUCKLE RING DESIGNED BY EBENEZER COKER.

A POPULAR AND ICONIC BUCKLE RING, CREATED IN ENGLAND DURING THE VICTORIAN ERA (1840-1901) IN 1872. IT WAS HAND-CRAFTED IN SOLID 18 KARATS OF POLISHED YELLOW GOLD AND MOUNTED WITH 2 OLD EUROPEAN ROUND DIAMONDS, 0.10 CARATS, F/G COLOR, VS-2 CLARITY.

IS STAMPED WITH BRITISH HALLMARKS FOR THE CITY OF LONDON, THE ASSAY MARK, THE MAKER'S CARTOUCHE E C FOR EBENEZAR COKER AND THE LETTER R FOR THE PRODUCTION YEAR OF 1872.

HAVE A WEIGHT OF 8.5 Grams AND THE ACTUAL SIZE IS 6.75, SIZE ABLE. THE WIDTH MEASURE IS 9 mm.

HISTORY: ASIDE FROM ETERNAL BINDING LOVE, THE BUCKLE RING WAS ALSO SEEN AS A SYMBOL OF UNBREAKABLE LOYALTY AND ENDURING MEMORY. AFTER THE DEATH OF A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND, WEARING A BUCKLE RING SERVED AS A TANGIBLE CONNECTION TO THE DECEASED AND COMFORTED THOSE GRIEVING BY KEEPING MEMORIES OF THE LOST LOVED ONE ALIVE.
