Round disc necklace designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2019) for Tiffany & Co.

This iconic round disc necklace is one of the iconics Peretti's designs made for the Tiffany Studios, back in the 1980's. This is the chain necklace with the extra large round disc, crafted in the purest plain shape of solid yellow gold of 18 karats with very high polished surfaces. It is fitted with the original designer's draped flexible woven chain of 30 inches.

Weight: 32.8 Grams, (21.02 Dwt).

Chain Size: 30 Inches (76.2 Cm).

Measurements: The main element is 52 mm by 52 mm by 6 mm (2.04 x 2.04 x 0.23 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed in full, "ELSA PERETTI TIFFANY & CO. 18KT SPAIN".

Elsa Peretti, was an important and iconic American designer that joined Tiffany & Co in the 1974 and change the role of diamonds and color gemstones in fashion for the everyday wear and elevating the status of the sterling silver jewelry. mostly using unusual gemstones and materials. all her creations are as modern today as ever.
