French Art Nouveau 1915 Snake Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Round Chrysoprase
Art nouveau snake ring made in France.
An elegant sleek piece, created in Paris France during the late art nouveau period, back in the 1915-1920. This serpent flexible ring has been beautifully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with the entire surfaces decorated with incised patterns.
Gemstones: The head of the snake is flush set with one round cabochon cut (3.5 mm) of a translucent green chrysoprase.
Weight: 5.3 Grams, (3.39 Dwt).
Size: 7.5 and very easy to resize.
Measurements: 18 mm by 20 mm (0.71 x 0.79 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French control marks, the maker's mark Ste. Z, the gold assay mark and signed, "SOCIETE Z. 18KT T".
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
