A rare vintage genuine butterscotch Bakelite/Catalin clamper watch bracelet created by the Royal Dynasty Company. There is a hinge that allows the bracelet to open up and slip on your wrist. Very chic!

Movement & Dial: Mechanical winding 17 jewels, analog gold dial signed Royal Dynasty 17 jewels with black hands.

Measurements: The widest part is 32 mm (1.26 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and signed, "ROYAL DYNASTY 17 JEWELS".

Note: Catalin is a brand name for the popular thermosetting polymer developed by the American Catalin Corporation in the 1930s. It is an early plastic made from phenol formaldehyde resins. Early on, radio and jewelry manufacturers had sought an economical replacement for costly wood.
