POL BURY 1975 Paris Galerie Maeght Edition Kinetic Sculptural Ring In 18Kt Gold
Kinetic ring designed by Pol Bury.
This is an extremely rare sculptural ring created in Paris France by the Belgian artist Pol Bury for Galerie Maeght, back in the 1970-1975. This SPHERES kinetic ring has been carefully crafted at the jewelry atelier of Jacques Bugin in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with very high polished finish. The design of this wearable piece of art was made up by several elements with a curved platform from which twenty spheres of various sizes emerge. These spheres contrast with the base and move freely on its individual axis. The sound they produce gives the impression of water since the design was based on the model of the famous water fountain designed by Pol Bury, back in 1968.
