NEOCLASSICAL 1880 Enameled Hair Comb In 18Kt Gold Diamonds & Carved Agates
A neoclassical crown shaped hair-comb made in Austria.
This fabulous jeweled hair-comb was created in Europe during the Victorian period between the 1880 and 1900, and is most probably of Austrian origin. The gorgeous hair-comb is extremely rare and has been designed as a crown-shaped tiara with elegant Greek-Roman neoclassical styles. It was exceptionally crafted with multiples parts made up in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, small bezels of platinum for the setting of the nine European rose cuts diamonds and carved translucent tortoiseshell. The upper part is decorated with several scrolls motifs, which they are embellished with applications of white hard enamel.
