Beautiful colorful bracelet, created in Paris France during the postwar period back in the late 1950 by the renowned jewelry house of Mellerio. This flexible bracelet has been made up, with intricate twisted and textured wires, crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats. The design is composed by 20 twisted rectangular elements mounted with gemstones and fitted with a push boxed security lock.

Turquoises: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 10 round cabochon cuts of 2.5 mm, carved from natural blue turquoises, 1.03 carat.

Rubies: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 10 round brilliant cut of natural red rubies, with 1.52 carats.

Weight: 50.95 grams (32.66 Dwt.).

Size: 7 Inches (17.78 Cm).

Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; twice with the head of the eagle for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, the serial numbers and signed, "MELLERIO PARIS 1181".

Mellerio-Dits Meller, is a French jewelry house, founded in 1613, and still active today. It claims to be the oldest family company in Europe. It gives its name to the Mellerio cut, a 57-facet jewel cut, shaped as an oval within an ellipse. Today Mellerio is based at Rue de la Paix, Paris, with branches in Luxembourg and Japan.
