Vivianna Torun For Georg Jensen 1970 Free Form Ring In 18Kt White Gold With Pearls

A ring designed by Vivianna Torun (1927-2004) for Georg Jensen.

Very rare sculptural vintage piece, designed in Denmark by Torun back in the 1970. This historical ring has been crafted, with a sleek free-form shape in solid white gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish. Mounted at the ends with a matching pair of cultured white pearls of 5 mm.

Has a total weight of 5.4 Grams and the actual size is 7.25, sizeable.

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the model number, the gold assay hallmark and signed, "TORUN 1443 .750".

Vivianna Torun Bulow-Hube, known as Torun, (1927-2004) was one of the Swedish most important jewelers of the 20th century and the most prolific designer for the Georg Jensen company. She was very famous since was the first woman silversmith in her period and promote in all her designs the anti-status jewelry. She has produced works for Georg Jensen since 1967 and all her designs are very popular and highly collectible.

Note: This ring is an very early version of this model (1443), it is no longer in production and was never mass produced. W e are sure this was made by Vivianna Torun itself, when she was working independently.

It is a great collector's piece.

Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
