Jeweled cluster cocktail ring.
Very handsome piece created during the American mid-century period, circa 1960. This cocktail ring was crafted, with Hollywood regency patterns in solid white gold of 14 karats and is embellished with a cluster of natural gemstones.
Mounted in the center, with a four-prongs setting, with an oval cut (9 x 8 x 6.5 mm) of a vivid red spinel of 3.78 carats. This center gemstone is surrounded by two spirals of diamonds of different cuts, all of them calibrated; F/G color and VS-2/SI-1 clarity. All specifics, are described as follow.
26 Marquise cuts, 2.08 carats.
12 Straight Baguettes cuts, 1.20 carats.
Have a total weight of 8.5 Grams and the actual size is 5.5, sizeable. The top view measures are 26 mm by 24 mm (1.02 x 0.95 Inches) and raise 11 mm over the finger.
Stamped, with the maker's mark and the gold assay hallmark, "14 KT".
It is in great vintage condition and all gemstones are secured in their prongs settings.
