*Boucheron Paris Rare Bubu monkey cocktail ring in18 kt white gold with 7.07 Ctw in gemstones
Rare Bubu monkey ring designed by Boucheron,
A very special cocktail ring made in Paris France by the house of Boucheron. This piece is part of the Bestiary menagerie collection; zebras, lions, camels and elephants was also created. This monkey model is called BUBU.
Carefully crafted in solid white gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish. It was designed with the figure of a seated monkey, completely covered in gems and is holding a red fruit (ruby) with its hands. The long tail is integrated to the shank by wrapping the finger as if it were in a jungle tree.
The main gemstones are one pear cabochon cut of a natural Burma red ruby of 1 carat and two round cabochon cuts of natural Colombian vivid green emeralds, (0.14 cts)
The entire body and the tail are embellished with an impeccable French pave setting of 276 natural multi color sapphires (5.52 carats) and 8 round cuts of fancy champagne diamonds (0.16 Ctw) and 21 round white brilliant cut diamond (0.25 Ctw)
The sapphires are gradated in different colors, with diverse shades.
Has a total weight of 23.8 grams and the actual size is 6.5, sizable.
The top view measures are 30 mm by 29 mm (1.18 x 1.14 inches) and raise 18 mm (0.71 inch) over the finger.
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche for Ste. B, (Societe Boucheron) the unique serial numbers and signed, "BOUCHERON OR .750 53 N10511".
Note: Only 12 pieces was produced from each animal.
It is in perfect condition with exceptional details and is accompanied by the designer's jewelry box.
