Boucheron 1970 Paris Modernism Clip Earrings In 18Kt Gold With Patinated Airain
A pair of Clips-Earrings designed by Boucheron.
Rare and unusual pair created in Paris France by the house of Boucheron, back in the 1970's. These pair of clips earrings has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and patinated Airain. Suited with French omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.
They have a combined weight of 23.6 Grams and a measurements of 24mm by 13mm.
They are stamped, with multiples French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche JTB for Jean-Thierry Bondt and signed, "BOUCHERON-AIRAIN OR .750 BOUCHERON .750 JTB".
Note: Monsieur Bondt workshop was located in Paris 2 at 19 Rue De Choiseul, he collaborate closely with Boucheron and VCA between the 1960’s and the 1970’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 2006.
Note: Airain is the French traduction to brass (from the Latin aes) is an aged term for a copper alloy. It is notably used as a synonym of bronze and brass, in a literary context or in reference to Antiquity.
