Boucheron 1960 Paris by Andre Vassort Clip-Earrings In 18Kt Gold With 2.40 Cts In Diamonds

Jeweled earrings designed by Andre Vassort for Boucheron.

A rare vintage pair of ear-clips, made in Paris France, circa 1960's. It was designed at the atelier of the famous Parisian goldsmith Andre Vassort, with an intricate twisted ropes patterns. They was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and accented, with platinum prongs for the diamonds settings.

Suited, with a hinged French omega backs for fastening clips and the optional posts for pierced ears can be easily added.

Embellished with 30 four-prongs settings, mounted with calibrated round brilliant cuts diamonds, 2.40 carats, E/F color, VS-2 clarity.

Have a total weight of 24.6 grams and a diameter of 26 mm (1.02 inches).

Stamped, with French hallmarks; three times, with the eagle's head and the dog's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold and the platinum, the maker's maitre cartouche AV associated to Andre Vassort, the unique serial numbers and signed, "BOUCHERON PARIS SDGD 36118".

Note: The Mo. Andre Vassort atelier, was located in Paris 2, 34 rue Sainte Anne. He collaborate very closely with VCA between the 1950’s and 1980’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 1990's.

Note: The maker’s cartouche AV, is associated to the 1960's mark for the atelier of the master jeweler, maitre Andre Vassort.
