*Boucheron 1950 Paris by Andre Vassort Cocktail ring in 18 kt yellow gold with corals

Rare Post-war ring designed-created by Andre Vassort for Boucheron.

Beautiful and colorful cocktail ring, made in Paris France during the post-war period, circa 1950. Was crafted at the atelier of the French master jeweler Andre Vassort in solid 18 karats yellow gold. His atelier was located in Paris 2, 34 Rue Sainte Anne.

Is a very classic design, embellished with a matching pair of bold bombe elements, carved from natural reddish salmon coral. 

This ring have a weight of 11 grams and the actual size is 6.25, sizeable.

Stamped with very clear French hallmarks; the eagle's  head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt yellow gold, the maker's maitre cartouche for Andre Vassort AV, engraved with his internal inventory number, the unique serial number and the engraved signature, "BOUCHERON OR 750 51837".

Note: The Mo. Andre Vassort atelier, was located in Paris 2, 34 rue Sainte Anne. He collaborate very closely with VCA between the 1950’s and 1980’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 1990's.

Note: The maker’s cartouche AV, is associated to the 1960's mark for the atelier of the master jeweler, maitre Andre Vassort.

Note: The coral gems have a rich orange-red color.

It is in perfect condition.
